Dean Erwin Chemerinsky: “The Law Concerning Diversity in Higher Education: The Myths and Realities.”

12:30 to 1:30 PM, Student Center, Pacific Ballroom AB

DECADE is funded by a comprehensive FIPSE grant from the U.S. Department of Education to the Graduate Division in collaboration with the ADVANCE Program.  The goal of DECADE is to increase the number women and minority students receiving doctoral degrees in programs in which they are underrepresented.

Dean Chemerinsky has suggested the following readings for this talk, “Grutter v. Bollinger” and “Gratz v. Bollinger.” These can be accessed through the Graduate Division homepage.  This event is not sponsored by CLSC but may be of interest to our affiliates.
